About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support enterprise application testing initiatives within a complex public sector environment.

The successful consultant will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing comprehensive testing activities across multiple projects. The role requires expertise in automated testing, test planning, defect management, API testing, database validation, accessibility compliance, performance testing, and quality assurance best practices. The consultant will collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, testing leads, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business, technical, and regulatory requirements.

Scope

• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and reusable testing assets.

• Create and manage test data using automated testing and API tools.

• Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL in Oracle environments.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Demonstrated system testing expertise through the development of automated test scripts, creation and execution of complex test plans, and coordination of defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

• Expertise creating test data using tools such as SOAP UI, Swagger, and Postman.

• Experience creating, tracking, prioritizing, and managing project defects based on severity and business impact.

• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and system testing of web-based applications.

• Experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test data.

• Experience supporting user acceptance testing activities.

• Strong SQL skills for data validation and database verification within Oracle environments.

• Experience using industry-standard defect tracking and test management tools.

• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources).

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

• Knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles.
