Senior Technology Architect

We are seeking a Network Security and Cyber Security Specialist to join our Ontario Government Client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with cyber and network security solutions, particularly for Ontario K-12 school boards, including advanced technologies like AI, machine learning, and next-gen firewalls. A mandatory cyber security certification (e.g., CEH, CISSP, or CISM) is required.

Cyber Security and Network Security

• 4+ years’ experience in network security and protection technologies (SIEM, EPP, EDR, XDR, identity management)

• 4+ years' experience with authentication solutions (MFA, passwordless, certificate-based, biometric)

• 2+ years’ experience in SOC troubleshooting, research, and automation

• Experience with SDN and SD-WAN (Fortinet, Meraki, Palo Alto, Aruba)

• Excellent knowledge of IoT security issues and cybersecurity incident management

Network Technology

• 3+ years' experience in network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, servers, switches, firewalls)

• Experience in data monitoring systems (SolarWinds, FortiManager, Panorama)

• Strong expertise in network protocols (MPLS, VPLS, VTP) and risk assessment

Coordination Skills and Experience

• 3+ years’ experience presenting to management and preparing reports

• Coordination of complex IT projects with multiple teams

Industry Certifications / Relevant Degrees

• CEH, CISSP, or CISM certification required

Public Sector Experience

• Experience working with Ontario K-12 school boards in network security
