About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Test Lead to lead quality assurance strategy and execution for large-scale, enterprise-level systems within a complex and regulated environment.

The successful consultant will act as a quality advocate across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), driving best practices in test strategy, automation, performance, and accessibility (AODA) compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Scope

• Lead testing strategy, planning, execution, and reporting across multiple systems

• Embed “shift-left” testing practices across SDLC phases

• Design and enhance scalable test automation frameworks (UI, API, database)

• Ensure testing aligns with functional, non-functional, accessibility, and security requirements.

Assignment Deliverables

• Comprehensive test strategies, plans, scripts, and reports

• Implementation of automation frameworks and CI/CD integration

• Risk assessments and mitigation plans related to quality assurance

• Test data management strategies including anonymization and compliance.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 10+ years of experience in software testing within enterprise IT environments

• Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing frameworks

• Strong experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Postman)

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar)

• Experience using defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent)

• Extensive experience with AODA compliance and accessibility testing

• Strong knowledge of QA standards, security testing practices, and end-to-end system testing

• Strong database knowledge (SQL, Oracle).

Nice to Have:

• Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive timelines

• Adaptability and ability to manage change in dynamic environments.
