Position: Senior UX Designer

Duration: 9 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking a highly experienced Senior UX Designer with strong Service Design expertise to support complex public sector digital initiatives. The successful consultant will lead end-to-end user-centered design activities, including research, service design strategy, and solution prototyping to improve digital service delivery and user experience outcomes.

Scope

• Design and test prototypes and iterate based on user feedback

• Support Agile delivery teams through sprint cycles and design validation

• Evaluate post-implementation performance and recommend improvements

• Contribute to process improvement metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Assignment Deliverables

• User research reports and insights documentation

• Service design artifacts (personas, journey maps, service blueprints)

• Prototypes, wireframes, and UX/UI designs

• Usability testing results and iteration reports.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• User needs mapping

•  User research (exploratory and evaluative)

• Stakeholder mapping

• Personas

• Journey mapping

• Collaborative design

• Prototyping

• Service blueprint

• Prior experience with DDR (Digital Dealership Registration) Project.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of network security and related technologies

• Experience with public sector or large enterprise digital transformation initiatives
