About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to support digital transformation initiatives and the delivery of user-centered web and mobile solutions within a complex public sector environment.

The successful consultant will lead user experience design activities from research and discovery through design, validation, and implementation. This role requires expertise in user research, interaction design, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, accessibility, design systems, and stakeholder engagement. The consultant will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, product teams, and project leadership to deliver intuitive, accessible, and effective digital experiences.

Scope

• Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, workshops, surveys, and usability testing.

• Develop user personas, journey maps, user flows, site maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

• Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.

• Facilitate design workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance analysis.

• Experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role designing web and mobile applications.

• Demonstrated ability to define and lead UX projects, design workshops, and stakeholder alignment sessions.

• Experience conceiving and conducting user research, interviews, and surveys and translating findings into user-centered design solutions.

• Experience creating sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

• Strong ability to communicate design concepts, design decisions, and development processes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Digital Service Standards and user-centered government service delivery.

• Experience solving complex design challenges involving legacy applications and diverse stakeholder environments.
