Position: Technical Analyst

Duration: 6 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Technical Analyst to support infrastructure initiatives involving Windows Servers, server builds, server migrations, application mapping, technical documentation and infrastructure coordination.

The successful consultant will bring hands-on Windows Server experience, strong technical troubleshooting capabilities and excellent documentation and communication skills.

The role will collaborate closely with Project Services, Operations and other technical stakeholders to support infrastructure initiatives and ensure successful planning, coordination and execution of server and technology migrations.

Scope

• Assist with technical data collection and analysis.

• Perform application discovery and mapping activities.

• Develop technical work packages and supporting documentation.

• Coordinate Windows Server builds and migrations.

Assignment Deliverables

• Complete application mapping and infrastructure discovery activities.

• Collect, validate and analyze technical information required for infrastructure initiatives.

• Develop accurate work packages, technical documentation and migration documentation.

• Coordinate servers build activities and associated technical dependencie.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Minimum 2+ years of direct hands-on experience working with Windows Servers.

• Strong technical troubleshooting experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong technical documentation skills.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of core infrastructure security.

• Data centre migration experience.

• General IT infrastructure migration experience.
