Database Adminsitrator

Become employed through Akkodis and work with our client. We are currently looking for a Database Administrator (m/w/d) to support our client in Basel.

Our client specializes in global economic evaluation and value communication and would like to hire a temporary employee for 6 months at max. 50% workload. This job can be performed from remote location in Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Model (web app with tech stack) coded in Java and MongoDB database
• Analyze database issues and troubleshoot or configure the database accordingly
• Drive automation of code
• Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed
• Ongoing operation and maintenance of MongoDB instances and deployments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
• Min. 3 years of experience with advanced MongoDB, data design, query design, indexing and query optimization.
• Good working knowledge in Java / Spring Boot
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Fluent in English

Additional information:

• Duration: 6 months, temporary contract: with possible for the FTE role
• Workload: between 40-50%
• Start date asap
• Work Location: remote from Switzerland
