Mechanical Engineer

For one of our clients located in Basel, we are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (M/F) in the aerospace sector.

🖳 Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical solutions for aircraft cabins in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Participate in all phases of the product lifecycle, from initial design to manufacturing and integration.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure system interoperability.

• Conduct feasibility analyses, simulations, and tests to validate designs.

• Identify optimization opportunities and cost reductions while maintaining a high level of quality.

Requirements:

• Degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in the aeronautical or transportation sectors.

• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as SIEMENS NX and AUTOCAD, or equivalent software.

• Knowledge of aeronautical standards and regulations (FAR, EASA, etc.).

• Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and manage projects independently.

Additional Assets :

• Experience in aircraft cabin or aerospace interior design.

• Knowledge of composite materials and their applications in the aeronautical industry.

• Proficiency in other languages, particularly English, for international projects.
