Akkodis is currently looking for skilled professional who enjoy a fast-paced environment to join our client software engineering team as a Senior C# / .NET Developer (m/f/d) in Zürich.

Senior C# / .NET Developer (m/f/d), 80-100% - Zürich

As a Senior C# / .NET Developer you will be working in a six-person Software Engineering team in the Structured Products division in Zürich, ensuring that code and developed interfaces are user-friendly, sharing new ideas, and driving continuous improvement at all times. The international team is responsible for developing and maintaining one of the globally leading multi-issuer platform deritrade® and several internal tools. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test and manage various applications
•  Collaborate with engineering team and product team to establish best products
• Follow outlined standards of quality related to code and systems
• Develop automated tests and conduct performance tuning

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Strong experience in Software Development within FinTech
• Solid software development skills in C#
• Good understanding of web environment (HTTP request/response, state management, caching)
• Experience with modern application lifecycle management tools (Git, Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code)
• Very keen on new technologies
• Willing to engage in a changing and flexible environment, with the ability to question the status quo
• Preferred (not required): Knowledge of structured products Knowledge of Elasticsearch Knowledge of queuing / streaming solutions RabbitMQ, Kafka Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift Knowledge of TypeScript, React and Next.js
• Fluent in English, all other languages like German are a plus

• Contract Duration: 12 months
• Location: Zürich
• Workload: 80% -100%)
• Start: asap until 31.01.2025
• You will be based in modern office in a vibrant area of Zürich
• Home office: mandatory availability of on-site work in Zurich. Remote working only possible after consultation with project manager.
• 25 days annual leave temporary employment.
