Senior Optic Designer (M/F/D)

·   Lead and manage the optical design for the development of a new device from concept to completion.

·   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements and specifications are met.

·   Utilize advanced optical design software (ZEMAX or CODE V) for simulation, optimization, and analysis of optical systems.

·   Ensure the optical design meets all performance, cost, and quality requirements.

·   Support prototyping, testing, and validation of optical systems.

·   Contribute to solving complex optical design challenges with innovative solutions and provide mentorship to junior team members and collaborate on design reviews and improvements.

Votre profil

• Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in optical design, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. 

• Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in optical design software, specifically ZEMAX or CODE V.

• Experience with Human Eye Optics: Experience in optical projects that involve the human eye is a significant advantage.

• Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory), with German as a plus.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of optical design principles, including but not limited to lens design, imaging, aberration analysis, and optical system optimization.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address complex optical challenges with innovative and effective solutions.

• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance.
