Software Engineer

Main responsibilities:

• You help build modern infrastructure for the Content ID Match System (system for automatic detection of uploaded videos that infringe copyright) following best practices and working with various production technologies at our client.
• You make sure the current systems run stable and are able to dig deep in monitoring and analysis to prevent or act on potential system outages / issues.
• On top of that you design and implement various improvements to make our systems more stable, scalable, easier to maintain and reduce their resource costs.

• Working scheduled: Hybrid model, 3 days onsite

Candidate’s Profile

• Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science or a related field
• Multi-year experience as software engineer in large-scale distributed computing
• Previous experience working as a SW Engineer and SRE Specialist (Server side programming is required)
• Proficient Software Engineering skills: Demonstrated expertise in C++ or Python
• Good understanding of following technologies: Pub/Sub, Distributed databases, e.g. Spanner. Familiarity with Kubernetes and Large scale Vector search is a plus
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

• Experience with Youtube production systems
• Experience with Content ID Match System
• Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and constantly evolving context. Ability to build collaborative partnerships.
• Comfort generating data and statistical analysis
