System Engineer

We are looking for a System Engineer with a strong Door System background to join Stadler. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, managing, and validating system requirements related to door control systems, while ensuring compliance with functional safety and RAMS requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, define, and manage system requirements for the Door System.
• Act as the interface between Systems Engineering, RAMS, and Software teams.
• Contribute to system architecture definition and technical solution development.
• Derive and allocate system requirements to software requirements.
• Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the V-cycle.
• Support system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Contribute to safety and reliability assessments for safety-critical functions.
• Participate in RAMS activities, including:
  • Hazard Analysis
  • FMEA / FMECA
  • Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
  • Safety Case preparation and review
• Participate in technical reviews and support issue resolution related to door system performance and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with project objectives and applicable standards.

• Experience in requirements management, system integration, verification and validation
• Ability to work as an interface between Systems, RAMS and Software teams
• Experience in safety-critical industries, ideally Railway
