Modis Announces Organizational and Personnel Changes

Modis Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kenichiro Kawasaki; hereinafter “Modis”), a technology solution provider and group company of the Adecco Group, the global leader in human resource services, has announced the following organizational and personnel changes.

Modis, in addition to changing its company name to AKKODiS Consulting Ltd. as of April 1, 2023, will also exit the human resource services industry that it has operated in and be reborn as a consulting firm that provides end-to-end consulting services to support innovation.
In initiating the company’s operation as AKKODiS on April 1, and promoting its swift and dynamic transformation into a consulting firm, Director and Chief Operating Officer Hidebumi Kitahara will renew its organizational structure starting January 2023, and strengthen governance by delegating authority for the management of each business.

Recruitment Information Session

The goal with the new business plan is to employ over 20,000 personnels employ by 2027. As the first stage towards this goal, Modis is working to employ over 20,000 personnels and invest in personnel in 2023, with the aim of strengthening recruitment of personnel who will participate in the company’s business transformation under the new organizational structure. On December 10, there will be a recruitment information session in which Director and Chief Operating Officer Hidebumi Kitahara will discuss the company’s plans to expand its businesses, and the ways in which recruits could thrive within the company.

  1. Explanation of business plan
    Explanation of our new mid-term business plan from 2023 to 2027. Modis Chief Operating Officer Kitahara will discuss the current circumstances at Modis; the company’s future strategy/tactics, organizational structure, schedule for changes; etc.
  2. Explanation from each business management division
    The head of each organization will discuss the organization’s direction and the appeal of the positions they are recruiting for.
  3. Positions being recruited

Profile：
Started working at SoftBank BB Corp. (currently SoftBank Corp.) as a fixed broadband engineer after graduating Purdue University in the U.S.. Built up experience in the field of telecommunications network technologies through his work establishing Wireless City Planning Inc., and more. Was transferred to the U.S. mobile carrier Sprint in 2015, and became head of SoftBank’s global business strategy in 2018, after which he worked in telecommunications networks and businesses such as IoT and satellite communications. Starting 2021, he has also worked to develop new businesses and formulate strategies within businesses in Japan, while also serving as director of HAPSMobile Inc. and director of BB Satellite Corp. Started working at Modis in May 2022, and work there currently.
