Cost Project Specialist - Defense M/F/X

We are looking for a Costing Specialist to support bid and project teams by developing accurate cost estimates and optimizing project cost structures within a fast-paced industrial environment.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Analyzing requests for proposals and evaluating material and manpower needs
• Preparing detailed cost estimates and project lead times
• Keeping costing databases up to date with:
  • Manufacturing operations and labor time
  • Latest supplier quotations (from Purchasing)
• Identifying and proposing cost optimization opportunities
• Providing accurate “Estimated to Complete” data during project execution
• Participating in risk and opportunity assessments
• Supporting Bid and Project Managers with strategic costing recommendations
• Acting as an ERP referent within the project team

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics or Logistics, and proven experience working with ERP systems. Experience in a similar role and/or within an international defense company is a strong asset.

You are a team player, analytical, accurate, and customer-oriented.

You have the ability to read technical drawings and bill of materials, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.

You are skilled in Excel, and experience with Oracle ERP is a significant plus.
