MSAT Process Engineer - Life Sciences - M/F/X

About the role

This role involves supporting commercial manufacturing, optimizing processes, and facilitating technology transfer.

The position is part of a digitalization initiative to transform laboratory activities from paper-based to digital, enhancing efficiency and global data analysis capabilities.

You will work within the Manufacturing Science, Analytical and Technology department, contributing to the development and implementation of lab-scale models and analytical methods

Key responsibilities 

• Support commercial manufacturing by optimizing processes and methods for lifecycle management
• Facilitate technology transfer of new products and processes within the MSAT department
• Develop electronic notebook methods and connect laboratory equipment for digital transformation
• Implement lab-scale models and analytical methods to enhance scientific roles
• Collaborate with various MSAT sub-teams to discuss and find compromises for process improvements
  
  

About you

• Proficiency in laboratory informatics, including laboratory and data management systems
• Master's degree or PhD in Life Sciences with at least three years of experience in biotech process development
• Fluency in English for effective communication in an international context
• Experience in growing mammalian cells in bioreactors and conducting protein purification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
