The mission is to translate customer needs into manufacturable, functional, and reliable solutions, primarily for industries such as semiconductors, medical technology, and aerospace. With specialized teams in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Flow & Heat, Software, and Project Management, we are currently looking for a Machine Automation Engineer to join us.

What you'll be doing as a Machine Automation Engineer:

• Designing safety protocols and damage control mechanisms.
• Developing self-calibration routines for machinery.
• Designing machine initialization and recovery processes.
• Creating termination behaviors and auxiliary system functions.
• Crafting UML diagrams for system design.
• Writing firmware and software specifications.
• Defining HMI specifications for optimal user interaction.
• Validating machine sequences to ensure proper operation.

What you need to be successful as a Machine Automation Engineer:

• A BSc or MSc in a technical field.
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in machine automation.
• Experience in creating UML diagrams for system design.
• Expertise in algorithmics and state machine logic for machine behavior.
• Proven experience in implementing PLC programs for control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to set clear priorities.
• Ambition for broad personal development within the technology field.
• Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English and preferably Dutch.
