This innovative approach involves exciting advancements at every level, from qubit devices and quantum information planes to the quantum-classical interface and classical compute systems, extending all the way to system software, applications, and global services. This project aims to revolutionize computing and tackle some of humanity’s most complex challenges.
With key labs established globally, including locations in Europe and the US, the team is central to this groundbreaking quantum program, with responsibilities shared across these sites.
Specifically, for their site in Delft, we are seeking a hands-on Nanofabrication System Engineer. You will join a global team of nanofabrication engineers and assist in executing experimental plans for the fabrication of topological devices using III-V materials.

Candidate’s Profile
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute experimental plans for the nanofabrication of advanced quantum devices using III-V materials.
- Utilize and optimize nanofabrication processes including Electron Beam Lithography (EBL), Sputtering, and Optical Lithography.
- Operate and calibrate metrology tools such as Optical Microscopes, Contact Profilometers, and Ellipsometers to ensure high precision in device fabrication.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate nanofabricated components into larger quantum computing systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor nano-electronic device fabrication and nanofabrication processes.
- Proficiency with III-V material systems and metrology tools.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse, international team.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends as required by project demands.
