OSS Construction Surveillance Engineer (m/f/x)

• Work Load: 160 working days (around 4 days per week)
• Location: 100% onsite, Vlissingen, (NL), Schiedam, (NL)

Tasks:

• Supervision of mock-up test for cable pull-in at jacket/Cable Deck in yard
• Supervision of topside cable installation for 66kV/220kV and Fiber Optic (FO) cables in yard
• Supervision of termination works
• Supervision of cable testing activities
• Conformity with the contractual requirements regarding the execution of the works
• Conformity with the technical regulations regarding the execution of the works
• Availability of and conformity with approved work procedures from cable contractors
• Monitoring and evaluation of repair works if applicable
• Supervision of transportation/lifting of cable contractor’s components inside yard
• Supervision of incoming inspections of cable contractor’s components (ensure required quality)
• Monitoring and evaluation of cause of and solution for non-conformance reports (NCRs)
• Monitoring and evaluation of final testing (“Harbor Acceptance Test”, HAT)
• Desired participation in regular project status meetings

Requirements:

• University degree in electrical engineering or similar and adequate degree
• 5+ years’ work experience in the energy cable sector
• 3 years’ experience in topside cable installation 220kV
• Skilled in cable testing activities
• Ability to identify and evaluate different quality issue
• Pfisterer S4 or S6 certificate and minimum 2 years’ experience
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• SCC Certificate
