An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate Procurement Administration Officer (32 hours a week) to join the Akkodis team, supporting the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. You will be working from our Akkodis office (hybrid) in Rotterdam.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will be supporting the different departments across the European Space Agency. You will perform administrative transactional and reporting tasks as part of the procurement process. Tasks will be:
- Create Purchase Order related objects in support of the agreed Work Plans;
- Shopping cart management;
- GRNs / Confirmations;
- Entering changes in planning tool.
- Create Contracts in support of the agreed Contract Action Plans;
- Follow up on the approval of all the above objects in the relevant tools;
- Follow up and implementation of the Contract Change Notice;
- Provide administrative support for timesheet management, ensuring timely submission, resolving user issues, and assisting with system data management and reporting;
- Manage and process low-value IT procurements, including invoice verification, data entry, and tracking purchase order balances;
- Coordinate with Technical Officers to ensure accurate order details and timely confirmations;
- Provide reporting such as statistics and progress status related to these tasks.

Candidate’s Profile
To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background / experience is required:
- Vocational education combined with experience in Procurement or Supply Chain;
- Extensive experience and a good understanding of SAP
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, highly organized, tactful, autonomous, flexibility, team spirit and discretion are a must;
- Highly proficient with modern electronics office automation tools, in particular Microsoft Office suite and electronic mailing (preferably Office 365);
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
