Currently, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems for complex mechatronic products and systems. From the specification phase to product validation, you will lead the electrical design and ensure smooth integration with multidisciplinary teams. You will contribute to the electrical roadmap, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior engineers.

What you’ll be doing as a Senior Electrical Designer:

• Electrical System Design: Lead the electrical design for mechatronic systems, focusing on control systems and electrical infrastructure.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Act as the link between electrical, mechanical, software, and control engineers to ensure successful integration of systems.
• Specifications & Prototypes: Develop electrical specifications based on customer requirements and oversee the transition from concept to prototype.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve complex design challenges in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Standards & Guidelines: Ensure designs comply with relevant guidelines and industry standards.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing leadership and fostering knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Innovation & Creativity: Apply your creativity to design original solutions and bring new ideas to high-tech projects.
• Project Ownership: Lead electrical design activities across multiple high-tech projects with diverse technologies and markets.

What you need to be successful as a Senior Electrical Designer:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Experience: At least 7 years of experience in specifying and designing electrical systems for complex mechatronic products.
• Cross-Disciplinary Knowledge: Experience and affinity with other domains such as mechanics, software, control systems, and dynamics.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical components, including cabling and small-volume cabinets, and familiarity with relevant guidelines and standards.
• Tools & Systems: Proficiency with ECAD systems like EPLAN.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers, and excellent communication skills.
