Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Laurel, NJ. You will develop and maintain document composition applications using OpenText Exstream while validating and testing migration activities in Command Center.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet business and technical requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Perform testing and debugging to ensure application stability and performance.
Implement enhancements and upgrades to existing systems based on user feedback and evolving needs.
Stay updated with emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes and solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to the role (e.g., Java, Python, .NET, or similar).
Hands-on experience with database technologies, version control systems, and software testing practices.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $60.00 per hour
