    Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Laurel, NJ. You will develop and maintain document composition applications using OpenText Exstream while validating and testing migration activities in Command Center.

    Rate Range: $49/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet business and technical requirements.

    • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

    • Perform testing and debugging to ensure application stability and performance.

    • Implement enhancements and upgrades to existing systems based on user feedback and evolving needs.

    • Stay updated with emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes and solutions.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • 3–5 years of experience in software development.

    • Strong proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to the role (e.g., Java, Python, .NET, or similar).

    • Hands-on experience with database technologies, version control systems, and software testing practices.

    Pay Details: $49.00 to $60.00 per hour
