Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Sunrise, FL. You will develop and maintain scalable applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, and React JS within a microservices architecture.
Rate Range: $42/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java 17/J2EE and Spring Boot (5+), integrating with RDBMS (PostgreSQL/Oracle).
Build responsive front-end applications with React JS (and optionally Node.js/Go), ensuring high performance and usability.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins for cloud environments.
Develop and automate tests (unit, functional, regression, performance) using modern testing frameworks; maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Collaborate in Agile teams to refine requirements, create user stories, and deliver incremental value with robust code reviews and source control best practices.
Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, leveraging logs/metrics; contribute to backend services in Python/Django as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 6–8 years of experience in full-stack development with Java and modern frameworks.
Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/J2EE, Spring Boot (5+), Microservices architecture, and Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in React JS for front-end development and experience with CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $44.00 per hour
