    Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Sunrise, FL. You will develop and maintain scalable applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, and React JS within a microservices architecture.

    Rate Range: $42/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java 17/J2EE and Spring Boot (5+), integrating with RDBMS (PostgreSQL/Oracle).

    • Build responsive front-end applications with React JS (and optionally Node.js/Go), ensuring high performance and usability.

    • Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins for cloud environments.

    • Develop and automate tests (unit, functional, regression, performance) using modern testing frameworks; maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

    • Collaborate in Agile teams to refine requirements, create user stories, and deliver incremental value with robust code reviews and source control best practices.

    • Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, leveraging logs/metrics; contribute to backend services in Python/Django as needed.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

    • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in full-stack development with Java and modern frameworks.

    • Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/J2EE, Spring Boot (5+), Microservices architecture, and Agile methodologies.

    • Proficiency in React JS for front-end development and experience with CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment.

    Pay Details: $42.00 to $44.00 per hour
