    Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Bentonville, AR. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience architecting scalable solutions in Kubernetes environments on GCP or Azure.

    Rate Range: $45/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design and develop scalable, fault-tolerant microservices using Java, Scala, or Go within a reactive architecture.

    • Deploy and manage microservices in Kubernetes ecosystems on public cloud platforms like Google Cloud (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.

    • Architect cloud-native, distributed systems with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

    • Implement robust testing practices using tools like JUnit and Mockito to ensure high test coverage and maintainable code.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure disciplined development practices including code reviews, documentation, and performance tuning.

    • Design and optimize data models using SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, Cassandra, and Azure Cosmos DB.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

    • Minimum 6–8 years of hands-on experience in backend development and microservices architecture.

    • Proven expertise in building reactive microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and deploying them in Kubernetes on GCP or Azure.

    • Strong understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, performance tuning, and database design using SQL/NoSQL technologies.

    Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
