    Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Atlanta, GA. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Java development, particularly with building scalable and efficient applications.

    Rate Range: $45/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Java Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications using frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot.

    • Build and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs for seamless communication between services.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

    • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

    • Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure application reliability.

    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

    • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Java development.

    • Proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot for developing scalable and high-performance applications.

    • Experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs and working with relational databases using SQL.

    Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
