Machine Learning with Apache Spark

Akkodis is seeking a Machine Learning with Apache Spark for a Contract with a client in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable machine learning models leveraging Apache Spark for large-scale data processing and analytics.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Machine Learning with Apache Spark job responsibilities include:

• Design and develop scalable machine learning models using Apache Spark for large-scale data processing and analytics.

• Implement distributed algorithms and optimize performance for big data environments.

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate ML pipelines into production systems.

• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model tuning to improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with best practices for data security, governance, and model deployment.

• Stay updated on emerging ML frameworks and Spark enhancements to continuously improve solutions.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in machine learning and big data technologies.

• Strong expertise in building and deploying ML models using Apache Spark in distributed environments.

• Proven ability to design scalable data processing pipelines and optimize performance for large datasets.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $50.00 per hour
