    Akkodis is seeking a Senior Backend Developer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building RESTful APIs and cloud-native microservices on AWS and integrating enterprise systems using TIBCO middleware.

    Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Senior Backend Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Golang, ensuring scalability and performance.

    • Build and optimize RESTful web services to support business applications and data exchange.

    • Architect and implement cloud-native microservices on AWS, leveraging services like Lambda, ECS, and RDS.

    • Integrate enterprise systems using TIBCO middleware, including BusinessWorks, EMS, and ActiveMatrix.

    • Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting to support reliable and automated deployments.

    • Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system reliability, while maintaining high availability and security.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

    • 6–8 years of experience in backend development with a focus on Golang and cloud technologies.

    • Strong hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices using Golang.

    • Proven expertise in AWS cloud services and TIBCO middleware for enterprise system integration.

    Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
