Akkodis is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a Contract with a client in West Lake Village, CA. You will design and develop scalable pricing applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js while ensuring robust testing and deployment on AWS.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $52/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Software Engineer job responsibilities include:
Design and develop new features and enhancements for pricing applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.
Write and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Cypress and Jest to ensure code quality.
Deploy and manage applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and CDK/SAM.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to architectural discussions.
Monitor and optimize data pipelines and integrations for real-time analytics and efficient processing.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.
Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, Step Functions) and infrastructure-as-code tools like CDK/SAM.
Solid understanding of software testing principles with hands-on experience using frameworks such as Cypress and Jest.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $52.00 per hour
