    Akkodis is seeking a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include performing advanced finite element analyses and providing technical oversight to global engineering teams.

    Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Lead the design, analysis, and development of complex mechanical systems and components.

    • Perform advanced simulations using tools like ANSYS or NASTRAN to validate mechanical performance.

    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.

    • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

    • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for mechanical failures or design issues.

    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support new product development efforts.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.

    • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.

    • Proficiency in finite element analysis tools such as ANSYS or NASTRAN.

    • Strong background in rotor dynamics, fatigue analysis, and vibration modeling for aerospace applications.

    Pay Details: $45.00 to $47.00 per hour
