Analyst

Akkodis is seeking an Analyst for a Contract with a client in Waltham, MA. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in functional testing within the AMI domain, while leading test strategy, managing defect lifecycles, and overseeing E2E and UAT testing across enterprise systems.

Rate Range: $68/hour to $71/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end functional testing for AMI implementations, ensuring coverage across meter systems, MDM, and integrated utility platforms.

• Define and execute test strategies, test plans, and metrics while coordinating stakeholder sign-offs and governance.

• Oversee E2E, system, integration, and UAT testing across systems like CIS, OMS, Billing, GIS, and SCADA.

• Manage defect lifecycle including triage, root cause analysis, prioritization, and resolution with cross-functional teams.

• Collaborate with automation teams to identify opportunities, review scripts, and enhance regression and release cycles.

• Prepare test reports, dashboards, and provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to testing teams for continuous improvement.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in functional testing, including test design, execution, and governance.

• Strong domain expertise in Utility/AMI systems (metering, MDM, head-end systems) with experience in large-scale integration testing.

• Proven ability to lead end-to-end testing initiatives, including test strategy, defect management, and coordination across distributed teams and stakeholders.

Pay Details: $68.00 to $71.00 per hour
