Limitations and Alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of the akkodis.com website, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

1. The forms such as "Contact", "Email Opt-in" and "Email unsubscribe" are not accessible.

Users relying on screen readers cannot submit the form for several reasons:

• The component to select the country (for the "Phone" field) is not compatible with screen readers.

• Incorrect fields are only indicated by color.

• Explicit error messages are missing as well.

We will prioritize making these forms accessible. While we are working on improving accessibility, please feel free to send us an email at accessibility@akkodis.com for any requests or questions.

2. Some videos or podcasts on the akkodis.com website may be partially accessible.

The videos (or audio content) are produced by our communication teams in each of the local entities. For older videos:

• Textual transcripts may be missing: a text version of the video (or audio content) will be provided.

• Closed captions of the videos are embedded, and we plan to produce synchronized closed captions.

• The audio description is often missing due to disproportionate costs, it will be difficult to respect this type of requirement. However, it will be possible for blind users to access the visual descriptions in the text transcript.

For new videos, we strive to create fully compliant content. We have provided our staff with guidelines for creating accessible videos (or audio content).

If you encounter an inaccessible video (or podcast) or need information about one, please email us at accessibility@akkodis.com. We will prioritize improving the accessibility of these videos or podcasts.

3. Some editorial content may not meet certain accessibility requirements.

Our communication team is aware of digital accessibility, and content editors follow guidelines to create accessible publications. Despite these efforts, some editorial content may still have accessibility issues, such as improper hierarchical headings, decorative images with not-empty textual alternatives, or inaccessible external documents.

If you identify an accessibility issue in a publication, please inform us.

4. The localized versions of our website are not yet accessible.

Akkodis operates in many countries, and its website is available in multiple translated versions.

The initial accessibility audit focused only on the pages of the global Akkodis website. Some elements are not yet translated, and there are issues with the heading hierarchy.

We are working diligently to resolve these issues. Accessibility implementation for each localized version is planned, and you can consult our roadmap for more details.

5. The accessibility of certain components could be improved.

The accessibility audit identified that some components on the website are compliant and follow the design patterns recommended by the W3C. However, certain components, such as the carousel or language selector, have room for improvement in terms of accessibility and usability. Upgrades for these components are planned in the near future.

We value your input and welcome suggestions for improving navigation to make it more inclusive for all.

Assessment approach

We have undertaken a comprehensive self-assessment of our website in compliance with regulations. This audit was conducted with utmost impartiality by a team of accessibility experts who are entirely independent.

The evaluation focused on a sample of pages from our global website, www.akkodis.com, the localized versions of our website (French, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch) were not included in the scope of this initial assessment but will be incorporated in future audits.
