AWS Cloud Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer for a Contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and leading large‑scale data migration and storage solutions on AWS.

Rate Range: $45/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AWS Cloud Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost‑optimized AWS data storage and migration architectures.

• Lead on‑premises to AWS data migration initiatives using services like AWS DataSync and S3 replication.

• Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and related components.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines for automated cloud deployments.

• Optimize data transfer performance, storage costs, and system reliability.

• Collaborate with application, network, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 6–8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles, with strong AWS focus.

• Hands‑on expertise in AWS data migration and storage services (DataSync, S3 replication, EC2, VPC, IAM).

• Proven experience designing secure, scalable AWS architectures using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
