Akkodis is seeking an Azure Data Engineer Lead for a Contract with a client in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing and managing scalable data pipelines, building data warehouses, and enabling advanced analytics using Azure services.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Azure Data Engineer Lead Job Responsibilities include:
Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure services such as Synapse, ADF, and Azure Databricks.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models to support data warehousing and analytics solutions.
Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
Integrate and manage data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize data processes for efficiency and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
8–10 years of experience in data engineering, with strong exposure to Azure data platforms.
Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Azure services such as Synapse, ADF, and Azure Databricks for building scalable data solutions.
Proven experience in data warehousing, PySpark/Python development, and optimizing data pipelines, with exposure to Cosmos DB or Microsoft Fabric as a plus.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $50.00 per hour
