Business Analyst and Functional Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst and Functional Consultant for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA/ Milford, Ohio/ San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate with expertise in Salesforce and Agile delivery, driving clear and actionable requirements for complex digital programs.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst and Functional Consultant Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead and facilitate requirements gathering workshops with business, product, and technology stakeholders.

• Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate closely with UX, development, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.

• Manage and prioritize backlog, supporting sprint planning, grooming, and review activities in Agile environments.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and Salesforce implementation teams to ensure alignment.

• Maintain documentation and ensure traceability of requirements while supporting change management and impact analysis.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably within Salesforce-driven digital programs.

• Strong expertise in Salesforce platforms (Experience Cloud, Loyalty Cloud) with proven experience in translating business requirements into functional solutions.

• Extensive experience in Agile (Scrum) environments with proficiency in tools like JIRA and Confluence for documentation, backlog management, and stakeholder collaboration.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
