Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will analyze and document business requirements by performing system research, executing QA testing, and validating data accuracy to support functional solutions.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $34/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements by collaborating with stakeholders and understanding current system processes.

• Perform QA testing using positive and negative test cases to validate business rules and system behavior.

• Write and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy across databases and application interfaces.

• Maintain and enhance system documentation in alignment with organizational standards and best practices.

• Work closely with project teams and product managers to support solution design and delivery.

• Utilize Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Scrum, Kanban) to manage tasks and contribute to project execution.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

• 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, QA testing, or systems analysis roles.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, data validation, and QA testing with experience in analyzing system behavior and business rules.

• Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Scrum/Kanban) and ability to create clear documentation, test cases, and functional requirements.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
