Calibration Technician -1st shift

Akkodis is seeking a Calibration Technician -1st shift for a Contract with a client in Erie, PA. The ideal candidate with hands-on expertise across multiple disciplines and a strong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and related industry standards.

Rate Range: $24/hour to $27/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Calibration Technician -1st shift Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform precise calibrations across multiple disciplines in accordance with company procedures and industry standards (ISO/IEC 17025, ISO9001, AS9100).

• Accurately document calibration results, ensuring full traceability, compliance, and technical accuracy.

• Support on-site and depot calibration activities while maintaining and verifying calibration standards and equipment.

• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete assigned work efficiently and on schedule.

• Adhere to safety protocols, quality requirements, and audit-readiness practices at all times.

• Represent the company professionally in customer-facing environments and participate in cross-training initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in Engineering, Electronics, Metrology, or a related technical field.

• 2–5 years of hands-on calibration experience across one or more disciplines (electrical, pressure, torque, temperature, dimensional).

• Demonstrated understanding of and experience working to ISO/IEC 17025 and other applicable quality standards.

• Ability to work independently in customer-facing environments with strong documentation, professionalism, and cross-training flexibility.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
