Akkodis is seeking a Calibration Technician for a Contract to Hire with a client in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will maintain equipment standards, resolve issues proactively, and complete all customer‑site work with strict adherence to ISO/IEC 17025.
Rate Range: $30/hour to $34/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Calibration Technician job responsibilities include:
Perform precise calibrations on pressure modules, gauges, torque tools, and dimensional equipment in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO9001 standards.
Conduct field calibrations at customer sites while ensuring accuracy, traceability, and high‑quality documentation.
Maintain calibration equipment, monitor standards, and report issues to ensure continuous operational readiness.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding service progress, technical requirements, and scheduling.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete projects on time and participate in cross‑training to expand technical skills.
Support quality and compliance initiatives, including audits, safety procedures, 5S, and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications:
Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent training in electronics, instrumentation, or a related field.
Minimum 4+ years of calibration experience, including high‑end pressure calibration.
Hands‑on experience with pressure modules, pressure gauges, torque tools, and physical dimensional equipment.
Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO9001 quality standards, with strong ability to follow documented calibration procedures.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
