Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Consultant for a Contract with a client in Dallas, TX (Remote). The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing, optimizing, and governing data assets within Azure Data Lake and Databricks’ environments.

Rate Range: $50/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Consultant Job Responsibilities include:

• Assess and organize existing Azure Data Lake and Databricks tables, creating a structured inventory and improving data structures and performance.

• Conduct data feed reviews with the MDL community and onboard new marketing and non‑marketing data feeds.

• Design and implement automated data pipelines to replace manual uploads and improve reliability.

• Develop and execute data quality checks, performing in‑depth analysis and corrective actions.

• Document data lineage, transformations, metadata, and governance standards including PII handling.

• Collaborate across teams to support enablement, access requests, and continuous improvement of the data platform.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 3–7 years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Databricks, SQL, and modern data pipelines, including data feed review and optimization.

• Proven experience in data governance, lineage, metadata documentation, and data quality frameworks with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
