Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate must have strong hands‑on experience with Informatica IDMC, Snowflake, and ETL development, along with solid SQL expertise and experience building scalable data solutions.

Rate Range: $38/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and data integration workflows using Informatica IDMC.

• Develop and manage data models and structures to support analytics and reporting needs.

• Work with Snowflake data warehouse to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries across relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata.

• Analyze and transform data to generate clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.

• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects across data pipelines and workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure timely delivery of data solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data integration roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC (must-have).

• Experience with Snowflake (preferred).

• Strong SQL skills with experience in RDBMS platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).

• Experience building ETL workflows and data processing pipelines.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare domain

  • Exposure to AWS or cloud platforms

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $41.00 per hour
