Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer- SSIS Developer for a Contract with a client in Rosemont, IL (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will develop and maintain high-performance ETL/ELT data pipelines using SSIS and SQL Server to support data warehousing and analytics needs.

Rate Range: $42/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Engineer- SSIS Developer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL Server and SSIS to support data integration and transformation needs.

  • Design and optimize data warehouse solutions (Star/Snowflake schema) for reporting and analytics.

  • Write and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and T-SQL for large-scale data processing.

  • Build and manage data pipelines across staging, ODS, and data marts ensuring high performance and reliability.

  • Implement data quality checks including audit, balance, and control mechanisms within data solutions.

  • Collaborate with teams to deploy and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for data workflows.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 6–8 years of experience in data engineering with strong focus on SSIS, SQL Server, and data warehousing.

  • Proven expertise in developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS and T-SQL for large-scale data processing.

  • Hands-on experience in data warehouse design (Star/Snowflake schema) and CI/CD pipeline implementation using Azure DevOps.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $45.00 per hour
