Decision Science Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Decision Science Analyst for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into validated data assets, performing advanced analytics, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic decisions.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Decision Science Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Translate business requirements into data questions, metrics, and validation approaches to support Member and Channel initiatives.

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), root cause analysis (RCA), and hypothesis testing to uncover insights and data quality issues.

• Design and execute A/B tests and statistical analyses to measure business impact and support decision-making.

• Develop and validate analytical datasets using Snowflake, Python, and SQL, ensuring end-to-end traceability.

• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and QA teams to resolve defects, maintain test coverage, and ensure data accuracy.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in analytics, decision science, or data analysis roles.

• Strong expertise in Snowflake (including Cortex), Python, SQL, and Customer 360 analytics with hands-on experience in data quality, validation, and traceability.

• Proven experience in statistical analysis, A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and stakeholder communication to translate insights into business-driven decisions.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
