Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate is responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining scalable AWS-based cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring secure, reliable application operations.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for provisioning and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for automated application deployment.

• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance across cloud environments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues using tools like CloudWatch, Splunk, and Dynatrace.

• Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployments and scalable solutions.

• Provide production support, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards and SLAs.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps.

• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Python, and shell scripting.

• Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure, implementing security best practices, and supporting production systems with effective troubleshooting skills.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
