Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate with strong working knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks while implementing DLP controls, data classification, and lifecycle management to protect sensitive enterprise data.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to protect sensitive data across endpoints, cloud, and enterprise platforms.

• Identify, classify, and monitor sensitive data throughout its lifecycle to reduce data leakage and information risk.

• Align DLP controls with cybersecurity and GRC frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001 to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

• Partner with cybersecurity, data governance, legal, and business teams to investigate data incidents and recommend corrective actions.

• Conduct regular DLP posture reviews, risk assessments, and policy tuning for continuous improvement.

• Support awareness, reporting, and documentation related to data security controls in evolving regulatory and threat landscapes.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline; specialization or certifications in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Data Governance are preferred.

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, with 6–8 years preferred in Data Loss Prevention, data security, or information risk roles.

• Proven hands‑on experience with Microsoft Data Loss Prevention and data classification technologies across enterprise environments.

• Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity and GRC frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001, with experience aligning DLP controls to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
