Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate is supporting large‑scale, event‑driven data platforms to enable reliable data mediation and streaming solutions.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $48/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑volume data mediation and streaming pipelines using PySpark, Apache Flink, Kafka, and Golang.

• Implement and support event‑driven and streaming architectures to process real‑time data at scale.

• Build and optimize cloud and containerized solutions leveraging Kubernetes, ELK, S3, and related platforms.

• Develop reliable, secure data processing solutions aligned with telecom standards, including 3GPP specifications.

• Collaborate on system architecture, design, testing, and deployment for complex, distributed data platforms.

• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues across data ingestion and processing systems.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.

• 6–8+ years of experience in data engineering, streaming platforms, or large‑scale data systems.

• Strong hands-on experience with event‑driven and streaming architectures using PySpark, Apache Flink, Kafka, and Golang in high‑volume data environments.

• Proven expertise in cloud and containerized technologies (Kubernetes, ELK, S3) with experience supporting data mediation or telecom systems aligned with 3GPP standards.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $48.00 per hour
