Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable lakehouse and analytics solutions using Azure, Fabric, and modern data engineering tools.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Gather and analyze business requirements to design scalable data solutions on the Microsoft Fabric platform.

• Set up and manage Microsoft Fabric components, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouses, and Notebooks.

• Build and maintain secure, scalable ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL.

• Design and manage analytical data warehouses and Lakehouse models to support reporting and advanced analytics.

• Develop, schedule, and automate data pipelines and CI/CD deployments using Git and release pipelines across environments.

• Create and manage Power BI reports and semantic models, ensuring optimized SQL queries, accurate data processing, and reliable reporting.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics solutions.

• Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouses, Notebooks, and strong expertise in Azure Data Factory–based ETL development using Python and PySpark.

• Strong experience in building analytics solutions with Power BI, data warehousing concepts, CI/CD and Git-based version control, and delivering secure, scalable data platforms aligned with business requirements.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
