Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in North Quincy, MA. This role involves executing end-to-end upgrade strategies, including infrastructure and database migration, while ensuring data integrity, custom code remediation, and seamless deployment and stabilization.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and execute end-to-end upgrades of Microsoft Dynamics GP, including application, database, and infrastructure layers.

  • Assess current environments and develop upgrade strategies, risk mitigation plans, and migration roadmaps.

  • Perform upgrades for Windows Server and SQL Server while ensuring compatibility with Dynamics GP.

  • Analyze, remediate, and validate custom code, integrations, and third-party add-ons during migration.

  • Ensure data integrity through migration, reconciliation, and validation processes.

  • Support testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, troubleshooting, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, including upgrade and migration projects.

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics GP (2013 to 18.x), SQL Server (2008 R2 to 2022), and Windows Server upgrades.

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end upgrade projects, including data migration, custom code remediation, and system validation.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
