Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. This role delivers production support and optimization for Kubernetes‑based applications by monitoring clusters and resolving issues across pods, nodes, and networking.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Provides L2/L3 production support for Kubernetes‑based applications, ensuring stability across pods, nodes, and cluster components.

• Monitors cluster and application health using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK to detect issues proactively.

• Troubleshoots deployment, networking, and performance problems in Kubernetes environments.

• Manages application deployments using Helm, Argo CD, or CI/CD pipelines to maintain consistent release processes.

• Performs RCA for incidents and implements preventive solutions to reduce recurring issues.

• Handles Kubernetes upgrades, patching, scaling, and resource optimization to maintain cluster reliability.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 4-6 Years of Experience Required.

• Strong hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes architecture, Docker, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure AKS or Google GKE and familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
