Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. Candidate must have strong expertise in Documentum and Java development to lead analysis, design, and deployment of enterprise applications on the Documentum platform.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Lead end‑to‑end analysis, design, development, and deployment of applications on the EMC Documentum platform.

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and oversee system integration across environments.

• Develop new product concepts and deliver working prototypes, ensuring adherence to product specifications.

• Refactor implementations toward an event‑driven, stateless, and cloud‑ready architecture.

• Implement REST/SOAP/OData services and core Java components using Git/Maven, ensuring code quality and maintainability.

• Coordinate with offshore teams and stakeholders to manage releases, track deliverables, and maintain 100% ownership.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 6–8 years of Documentum and Java development experience.

• Strong proficiency in Documentum development, including D2 configuration and platform‑level customization.

• Solid expertise in Java (1.8+), REST web services, and modern architectural practices such as event‑driven and cloud‑ready designs.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
