Devops SRE

Akkodis is seeking a Devops SRE for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA /Austin, TX (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and automation to ensure reliable and scalable software delivery.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Devops SRE Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and automation systems to ensure scalability and reliability.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and efficient software delivery.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve uptime and stability.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to enhance application performance and deployment processes.

• Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker for optimized infrastructure operations.

• Implement best practices for system security, configuration management, and operational efficiency.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 8–10 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language with solid understanding of system architecture, automation, and monitoring tools to ensure high system reliability and performance.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour
