Devops SRE

Akkodis is seeking a Devops SRE for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate responsible for deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes-based production environments while ensuring system reliability and scalability.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Devops SRE Job Responsibilities include:

• Deploy, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and ensure high availability and performance of production systems.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Helm, and Spinnaker for reliable releases.

• Configure and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Monitor system performance using observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog, ensuring proactive issue resolution.

• Troubleshoot complex issues across Kubernetes clusters, applications, and hybrid environments.

• Implement and enforce security, logging, and compliance best practices across cloud and container platforms, while enhancing monitoring and alerting systems.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• 8–10 years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles managing cloud and containerized environments.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and AWS services with experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation and infrastructure automation.

• Proven ability to manage observability, logging, and security practices while troubleshooting complex distributed systems in hybrid cloud environments.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $57.00 per hour
