Akkodis is seeking an Electromechanical Technician II for a Contract job with a client in Grand Prairie, TX. The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience in electromechanical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting, along with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Rate Range: $30/hour to $33/hour (W2); The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Electromechanical Technician II job responsibilities include:
Assemble, integrate, and test electromechanical systems and subassemblies according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
Perform functional testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical components.
Interpret and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
Utilize diagnostic tools including multimeters, basic oscilloscopes, torque tools, and measurement instruments.
Maintain accurate documentation in ERP/MES systems and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO quality standards, OSHA safety requirements, and ESD procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate degree preferred.
2–5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly, testing, or repair.
Experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environments.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Hands‑on experience with wiring, connectors, harnesses, and mechanical assemblies.
Familiarity with standard hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred:
Experience with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001)
Exposure to FAA/regulatory environments
ERP systems experience (SAP or equivalent)
Lean / continuous improvement exposure

Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
